HR AI SOLUTIONS

UC Irvine Human Resources embraces artificial intelligence (AI) as a tool with the potential to add value and improve efficiencies. Some of the ways HR endeavors to utilize AI include:

• Improve the client self-service experience
• Automate routine, mundane tasks
• Reduce compliance risks
• Provide context-specific answers to complex employment questions
• Generate employment documents, e.g., offer letters, performance evaluations, corrective action letters, etc.
• Summarize concepts, programs, initiatives, analytics, reports, and more
• Code routine data requests for co-worker self-service
• Build HR event calendars
• Draft communications, e.g., emails, newsletters, articles, etc.

Even with this robust list of possible AI uses, the full scope of ways in which AI can augment human resources work is not yet fully understood. We continue to explore and build our AI acumen daily.
