These employees may be productive, but they are not psychologically connected to their company. They are more likely to miss workdays and more likely to leave.

15% disengaged

These employees are physically present, but psychologically absent. They are unhappy with their work situation and insist on sharing this unhappiness with their colleagues.

RESULTS AND NEXT STEPS

As the UCI Engagement Team was about to embark on programmatic planning for 2020-22, the COVID-19 virus forced the suspension of those engagement efforts. As a result, what we learned from the 2019 Staff Engagement Survey will be rolled into our 2021 results and used for strategic and programmatic planning for 2022-24.
