We listened carefully to staff feedback regarding the 2016 merit program and made some important changes to this year’s program. Now in its second year, UCI’s new merit program continues to improve organizational performance by aligning employee performance with UCI’s strategic goals.

New HR Model Unveiled
Campus HR, medical center HR, and health sciences HR have been working diligently - and together - on an innovative new HR model. The new structure takes advantage of best practices and the very talented HR professionals in all three units to create a strong, more efficient human resources team at UCI. The model preserves the three units an each unit's unique culture and personality while elevating strategic, enterprise-wide initiatives to the new center of excellence named HR Partnership for Strategy & Innovation.
Rewarding Performance Advances UCI. The newly introduced pay for performance program for non-represented staff employees provides an opportunity to align individual employee objectives, milestones and targets with the university’s goals. Together we will advance UCI into our brilliant future.
