The welfare of our employees is of utmost importance at UCI. To help keep you and others well, and to help reduce the spread of illness, UCI expects all employees working on-site to follow the practices shown below in section one.
Should any employee have concerns regarding colleagues who are failing to meet these expectations, they can use the options shown below in section two to report their concerns.
Wash hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
Complete the Working Well™ Daily Symptom Check prior to reporting to work every day of your scheduled work week.
Avoid touching your mouth, eyes and nose.
Stay home if you are sick.
Cough or sneeze into your sleeve or tissue and dispose of the tissue in the trash.
Wear Face Coverings
Campus - Wear cloth face coverings in public settings where other physical distancing measures are difficult to maintain.
UCI Health - Wear face coverings both inside and outside of buildings. Your supervisor will assist you with the proper attire, PPE, and face coverings needed for your work area.
Avoid contact with people who are sneezing, coughing or exhibiting symptoms of respiratory illness.
Maintain a minimum of 6 feet distance from others whenever possible.
Practice situational awareness and immediately report potential exposures to supervisors.
If you feel you cannot go to your super-visor or your concern was not adequately addressed by your supervisor, you can reach out to your local Human Resource representative.
